Finspång, is a center of mining in the county of Östergötland. It is often described as the cradle of Swedish industry as built by the Dutch businessman, later to become a member of Swedish nobility, Louis De Geer. Already in the 11th century ore was extracted from the lakes and swamps. With a total of 378 named lakes in the area, Finspång has more lakes than any other Swedish municipality.

In this mix of wilderness and industry you will find Hotel de Geer. A hotel that exudes atmosphere and class, a soothing and stimulating environment for both relaxation and work.
